I think McNabb would be an awesome fit in Minnesota. However, I think this is an unlikely scenario at this point. If McNabb had his way, he'd end up in Minnesota or Arizona. Arizona isn't far away from making it all the way. I'm not sure that McNabb is better than Kurt Warner at this point in his career though. Arizona still seems to be holding strong on the position that Matt Leinert will be their starter next year. Let's face it, Favre will be back with the Vikings next year. If he wasn't planning on it, I think he would have said so by now (not that he wouldn't want to come back after he said he'd retire). It looks pretty likely right now that Oakland might make a play for McNabb. I don't think they'll get McNabb to sign an extension though. I don't understand the logic of making a trade to let him walk after this year (end of contract), but Oakland has said they're ok with him playing there for one year. McNabb does hold the cards though at this point. There won't be any other teams that will want to make the trade if McNabb won't commit to an extension. All that said, even though the Eagles have seem to have changed their tune about trading McNabb and seem to be becoming a little more aggressive on that front, there's still a big chance they he returns next season in Eagle's green. What I'd hate to see is the Eagle let Kevin Kolb go. He's shown to be a very promising prospect to be McNabb's successor. Michael Vick? I don't know who wants him. As much as he wants to be a starter somewhere, I don't see too many teams taking a chance on him. Maybe he'll end up in Oakland?

Well Mcnabb isn't going to be a Viking now.

He's going to the Redskins. That's going to come back and bite us in the ass for sure.
I love the spin they put on it "the Eagle's management wanted to make sure Donovan went somewhere he wanted to go, somewhere that he'd be happy with the situation".
What it really came down to, if Donovan said he's not going to sign an extension for that team, the other team wasn't going to touch the trade. McNabb had all the cards in his hand on this one.
Effing Redskins. It's going to be a sad day when he comes in and wipes our asses on our home turf and then goes back and does it in DC as well... I hope it doesn't happen...

Koy Detmer , AJ feely , Jeff Garcia , even Kevin Kolb. he may be the most over rated player in the NFL in the last 10 years

I agree, the Eagle's offense is built in a way that almost any QB can come in and take over. Jeff Garcia was HUGE when he took over though, and in my opinion was light-years better than Detmer and Feely.
One thing I'm not worried about is the Redskins going on and winning a Superbowl in the next 2-3 years. That's not going to happen. But I am still worried about the 'Skins fielding a decent team in the next year or two and then beating us in ~both~ outings. That would suck balls. Especially knowing how tight this division can be record-wise.
In my opinion, the jury is still out on Kolb. No doubt he looked awesome in his 2nd start last year. Plus he put up monster yardage despite 3 interceptions in his first outing. He looks great when he throws (much better mechanics than McNabb), but I won't feel good about him until I see him get a few more games under his belt.

You have to give the Eagles credit they must know something to trade him in the division. It wasn't to long ago when the Packers did everything they could so Favre wouldn't go to the Vikes.
BTW Vick will be your starting QB sometime this year.

Vick stinks...he has never been a good QB he is a great athlete but a horrible QB.......as much as I dont like the eagles they made the right move.Mcnabb is what he is a guy that can winn in a weak division and a weak conference but as the teams in the NFC played better he didnt look so good. The eagles will live and die with Kolb they won't pull him for anything, save injury. They can't , even andy ried is'nt that stupid.

I think Tommy's right there. The Eagles won't pull Kolb for Vick for anything other than an injury. You might see him in some of that wildcat nonsense, but other than that, you won't see him much at all.
What the Eagle's really need to do is find that veteran QB on his way out to come in for a year or two as back up and continue mentor Kolb. Vick surely isn't that guy.
I don't think the Eagle's still moving Vick is completely out of the question either. There are still teams that need QB's desperately. I think the Eagles just gambled and lost picking him up in the first place. They're not going to get for him what they originally hoped they would. But I still wouldn't be surprised if someone like the Raiders or Bills, both originally rumored to be in talks for McNabb, take a shot at Vick.
Or do the Eagle's keep Vick, take a shot at Tim Tebow if he's still available at the end of the first round, and have Vick mentor Tebow being similar types of players? That may be a little far-fetched, but not totally out of the question.
The Eagle's have other positions to worry about (a good pash rusher for one). They shouldn't be worrying about grabbing Tebow at this point. I will not be surprised to see them take a QB in the later rounds though. Personally, I'd rather them go after a free agent, like a Daunte Culpepper or even a Charlie Batch.

Eagles start the season 0-3.
Andy Reid steps up to the podium " We have decided to make a change at QB."
Culpepper is the last person you want on your team unless of course you would like him to show Kolb how to throw up a ball for grabs or fumble.
