well, after being in a mental funk for tha last few months, i'm currentlly motivated to train again. i'm hoping with a log, that some people may check in on from time to time, it will help keep me motivated in case i get loopy again. I know that both Whiley and Farside have been trying to get me to do some riding/training, but with all these kids, and a strange work schedule, it just never seems to pan out.
i have also been doing some fight training latelly, so at times my workous may seem way off from bmx, but the conditioning for fighting can't hurt for bmx.
monday dec29th warm up-- 10 min on the rollers sprints-- 3 sets of 5 @40 yds 20 pushups between sets no rest cool down-- 2 minute rounds 2 rounds speed bag 2 rounds shadow boxing

tues 30th today was supposed to be a strength day, but i couldn't make it to the gym, which leaves out squats. strength day without squats is like cereal without milk. so i made today a muscular endurance day.
1 ciruit, no rest between exercises. would like to work towars multiple circuits by the time the season rolls around.
body weight squats-- 30 pushups-- 30 verticle leaps -- 10 crunches-- 30 step ups----- 40 (20 per leg) chins-- 5 lunges-- 30 close grip pushups-- 20 inverted rows-- 15 body weight squats 15 chins-- 5
for those not counting that's 230 reps.
hopefully this will help with those days when i have to race more than one class back to back

friday jan2--
wrestling practice followed by 7- 3 minute rounds on the heavy bag, 30 sec rest between rounds sparred for 3 rounds. we spar after we are tired to help expose weeknesses. everyone has great form when tehy are fresh. i drop my hands when i throw knees, which leaves me wide open for punches-- i found this out the hard way... over and over and over again
